Song Memory

Yesterday Once More

   Every sha-la-la-la
   Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they're startin' to sing's so fine

This song is one of my favorite songs because it owned a part of my memory. I heard this old song the first time when I was a 8th grade student in China. One day, the school radio started to work during the lunch time, then this song was played. I thought it was interesting that playing a slow paced song during the short period. Then I began to hear it everyday, and I thought it was not bad. Its Lyric was about nostalgic, at that time I liked it just because its melody was good.

Time runs fast. 3 years later, I came to the U.S. At that time, I have no friends. Everything was strange for me.  I lived with my mother, but I felt I was homeless. I was so lonely, and I pretended as a indifferent person to protect myself. Afterwards, one day I played music randomly when doing my homework, and this melody showed up. At that moment my heart was just get wet. My tears lost control. I missed my friends, missed my family and missed my schoolmates in China very much. From that I made a decision, which was to go back to China and to visit friends during the summer break. Now I have gone back twice. I still miss my home town, but listening to this song can help me calm.
I'll never forget it.
